he strength of the Scalabrinian charism continues to work throughout history as the Scalabrinian Missionary Sisters MSCS, pilgrim women who live day by day in solidarity with migrants, continue to work in the Church in evangelizing and helping to improve the migrants' lot in life, by placing themselves as mediators in bridging the distances and differences experienced by migrants living in the new and different realities in which they find themselves. The presence of the MSCS Sisters intends to be a humble
witness which favors communion, sharing and catholicity, by being a prophetic voice which speaks out against injustice and announces hope, and by acting as an instrument of
solidarity and of missionary care.
The mission of the MSCS Sisters with migrants becomes real, as a faithful expression of a consecrated woman's
vocation and participation in the "now and not yet" of the Eternal Kingdom, begun with the Incarnation of the Son of God. Such a task is carried out by being
dedicated to life, respecting differences found among peoples, and in promoting the culture and faith of every person and every
people, with which the Scalabrinian Missionary Sisters share their lives.
